Fire at Dollis Hill House 20 February 2011
Three fire engines were needed to put out a fire that started on Sunday evening 20 February 2011. Fire fighters found areas burning in the basement, and on the ground and first floors. The metal fence around the house appears to have been forced open, highlighting the poor security. Trustees are concerned that it is easy for intruders to enter the building, despite assurances from Brent Council that a substantial annual sum is budgeted for security.
